Surprising as it may seem, this special edition will be sold as crazy in the UK , from 26,995 pounds, before taxes. Mechanically there will be no change and maintain its diesel Duratorq TDCI 2 .2. The most significant developments will affect those dynamics, and has received enhancements to its chassis and its aesthetics, as is obvious in these images.
The limited edition van was created by Van Sport in association with Ford World Rally partners M-Sport, who previously helped to develop the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Directly inspired by the dynamic appearance of the rallying Fiesta, this special edition Transit comes complete with a WRC-inspired body kit, along with a luxury hand-crafted leather interior.
Inspired by World Rally Championship
True to its rallying inspiration, it also features Eibach lowered suspension and 18-inch Michelin racing tyres, along with a new remodelled steering wheel and M-Sport branded dials and mats.
It also comes with a brand-new exhaust system that’s integrated into the rear bumper, along with a striking roof spoiler, a unique numbered plate and a variety of custom bespoke options.
Malcolm Wilson OBE, managing director of M-Sport, said: “This is a fantastic project which we are all extremely proud to be involved in.
“Combining Ford’s driving dynamics and the Transit’s versatility with Van Sport’s ingenuity and style, this product compliments the M-Sport brand which is all about quality, performance and flair.”
One of the best-loved vans in history
First introduced in 1965, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has gone on to become one of the most successful and best-loved vans in the world, with Ford recently announcing it’s to expand its line-up even further.
With the introduction of new models like the Chassis Double Cab and L5 versions with extra-long wheelbases, the new Transit is now available in more than 450 different model variants.
The Ford Transit is also the best-selling van in the UK as of last year, as well as the recipient of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and an array of other critical successes.
Here’s what Martin Wilson, M-Sport Managing Director, had to say about the finite product:

I know it has no extra power and it’s now rubbish as an actual van... but I need it.

it looks awesome. Too bad they didn’t do something with the engine, like out the one from the RS in there. They also need to carry the stripes all the way to the front

Though the M-Sport Transit looks good. I’d rather save £10,000 and get the black Sport 290 H1L1 with the 2.2 diesel engine.
But ye’, M-Sport could of easily ‘tweaked’ the engine and gave it more of a reason to look badass rather than merely for the sake of looking badass.
